Wisdom belongs to and is from God

Written by

The scripture records that in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth (Gen. 1:1). He created everything, including man who was made in his image and likeness. God did this in his wisdom. “Wisdom is an attribute of God that is eternally related to him, understood only in relation to him, and is an extension of his dynamic being to mankind”(Bullock, 1986).

After Turning 50

Miracles in the OT were often viewed as signs (Exod4:8:23). Extraordinary events were given as signs to insure faith or demonstrate authority.

The words of Jesus in Mathew 16:18 “… and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it,”

The task at hand

Written by

When Joshua was old and well advanced in years, the Lord said to him, “You are very old, and there are still very large areas of land to be taken over.” Joshua 13:1.
Moses, at his death, had already taken possession of some of the land that the Lord had promised to his people, Israel.
